The Outdoor Swimming Society (OSS) is holding a massive Midsummer Party on Wednesday 23rd June. They're asking all comers to take a watery route to Hampstead Heath, dipping a toe in the water on their way: when everyone's at the famous London park their river, lake and pond routes will be plotted on a special map to display the rich network of swimmable waterways across the country.

They promise "An evening from 6pm to 10pm of open water swimming, fun, food and music at Parliament Hill Lido: we will have a river map to mark the spot you have dived into to get to the OSS Midsummer party."

There will be further swimming races such egg and swim races, as well as general swimming in the beautiful lido. You will also be able to listen to a sound experience that will be played underwater to re-experience the joy of water.

Tickets are £20.00, and will be sold through the OSS website.
