Promise

These new boots from Meindl’s alpine range promise a quality piece of footwear for serious climbing and mountaineering enthusiasts.

Performance

When your activities up in the mountains get serious, you need a boot that gets serious with you. Footwear are your friends when the times get tough: go for quality and durability and you’re going in the right direction. You need a boot which offers support, comfort and protection in the harshest climes, and we think that the Air Revolution 9s from Meindle have got it all.

Since they were established over 326 years ago in Bavaria, Meindle have been putting out some very serious footwear indeed. This new addition to the range continue the pro looks and features of their forbears. With a high rubber border across the entire foot giving great protection to the heel, toes and sides, and a lacing system that begins way out towards the toe, you’re looking at a really stable, secure and non-rubbing boot.

Fully crampon-compatible, the Air Revolution 09 is completely waterproof, made from velour leather with a cordura trim outer and a Gore-Tex lining. The ‘Air Revolution’ in the title refers to a patented design that circulates air as you walk, keeping your feet dry and comfortable.

Verdict

Big boots for big adventures in the hills: if you need great company at altitude, you’ve got it with these.
