Orkio premium SLR camera bag
Promise
Orkio’s top-of-the-range bag keeps all your camera gear and other electronic goodies safe while you’re out shooting – but has it got the versatility of more established brands?
Performance
These have a great capacity for gear. At 440x250x190mm, they’re larger than most satchel-sized camera bags and could easily fit a couple of SLRs plus lenses and flashguns. We actually managed to fit our mini-tripod in there too, something we can’t do in our own bag! Inside there are two padded, movable dividers so you can separate the space and keep your gear from falling around, and a clever double-flap stops the rain getting in at the corners of the bag opening. Some nice detailing leaps out too: like a collapsible water bottle holder at the side, and a headphone socket built in to the side pocket.
Verdict
Gives its elder competitors a run for their money with its modern features and styling – worth checking out if you’re not a dyed-in-the-wool traditionalist.

The bag looks really nice but the only problem I have with it is the same issue I had 3 months ago when I bought my digital SLR camera, it’s not very exciting to look at. I searched high and low to find a camera case that was cool to look at and big enough to store everything I need. After months of moaning about it however, my friend recommended www.oliepops.com where I managed to find just what I was after. I bought myself a hot pink camera case for just £23.99. The payment was really easy as well as it was done through Paypal and I received it the next day. My favourite part of my little shopping trip though was the fact that they have a 15% off discount off everything at the moment if you use the code “Issy”, so it was even cheaper!
