Verdict

We were surprised by the sturdiness of these - solid wood construction for both the pins and the balls. And the game stands up to the test of time too: beer certainly helps that and is nearly compulsory when playing for that authentic West Country haze. The only problem here is weight - unless you're driving, these are going to weigh pretty heavy on your shoulder over any appreciable distance at 5.35kg.
